Praise report

Praise the Lord! I just received an email from Half.com to let me know that $150.13 will soon be deposited in our checking account. It's not easy selling off your belongings, but the sacrifice is worth it. Less to clean and more money available to pay bills.

I know we will survive this period in our lives. It's a great learning experience to watch the Lord work in your life. He is definitely working in ours.

"But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill" (Psalms 3:3-4).

It's a good question, and one I guess I won't say I've come to a full understanding of, though I know I cannot support abortion or it's legalization in anyway.

I'm thinking that ultimately it comes down to what each one believes about when life begins. No one has any problem with making laws against any other type of murder, and enforcing them. People would be absolutely horrified to make it legal to kill a child if one was tired of them or didn't want them after they were born.

For me, I believe that life starts at the moment of conception. At that moment, though helpless and unable to live on it's own, that is a baby. To take its life is to commit murder, and that is why I believe in anti-abortion laws just as much as I believe in laws against any kind of murder. :)

That of course is brief, and may not make sense... but that's where I'm coming from, at this point! Don't take this as a personal disagreement, but just a sharing of what has been my conclusion of the matter- because I'm open to discuss and talk about it, for sure. :)

Ah, I forgot to answer your question about wheat! :)

We buy ours in 25-50 lb bags from the local co op. You might look around for an Azure or something similar, and see if they can get you "Prairie Gold" Wheat. I use Prairie Gold and a Red Wheat and grind and mix the flours for my bread and all my baking.

I hope you can get yourself a grinder someday because I do think that it will save money in the long run. They are just soo expensive for a really good one!
