I am enjoying coming over to read your blog...Amen!

I am enjoying coming over to read your blog and seeing how you are getting on and what your thoughts are. I personaly read through the Bible regurally and love it. We are half way through it as a family which I think is brilliant for Sean.

Here are a few verses that relates to our sinfulness and God's righteousness.

Titus 3:3-7

Colossians 2:13-14

Romans 4:5-8

Ephesian2:1-10 (especially 8&9)

1 Corinthians 1:24-30 (especially 30)

Christ became righteousness for us. Once forgiven we are given His righteousness. Once forgiven God looks on us and sees us as sinless, because of the swap that took place on the Cross. Jesus righteousness for our sinfulness. He was punished for our sins, we are blessed forever by his rightoeusness/sinlesness)

There is nothing that we can add to this and the great thing is that we don't have to try. It is inherent in us to try to do something, to, in some way, work towards saving ourselves.

David was never going to loose his righteousness with God. He was diciplined for his sin though. Like a loving father diciplines his children, God diciplines us. But there is never any fear of loss of salvation once forgiven is granted at the moment of conversion and we become His children:0)Ruth MacChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14591616568622752136noreply@blogger.com
