Weekly Memory Verse

One side benefit to being involved in the Bible in 90 Days ministry is that you get to meet great people. Katia is one of my fellow mentors for this session and I am thoroughly enjoying getting to know her via her blog.

Katia has invited others to join her in memorizing a Scripture verse every week. I haven't memorized Scripture in years. Thankfully, there is no better time to start than today!

The verse I chose to memorize this week is really comforting me right now.

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus,
who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Romans 8:1, NKJV

I started reading this verse over and over on Friday but I can't seem to let go of it. It's a good choice for memorization this week.

I just opened my reader and saw your lovely post. I too have really enjoyed getting to know.
I love this verse but can't ever remember where it's found, so it's one of the ones on my list.
So happy you joined us on this lovely journey.
(((hugs))

Hi!
I often see your comments on Celee's blog, so I thought I would stop by and visit you.

I learn verses weekly with my children....they are much better at learning and retaining them than me though. We have a system where we review verses daily, every other day, weekly, and monthly.

I read a little bit of your blog, and I saw where you want to run a 5K.. What a great goal. How is the training going? I am a runner, and I blog a lot about running. In fact, last year I posted all about how to go from walking to running a 5K (or longer) in 7 -8 weeks.

Have a great day!
