Quilting update

Yesterday I laid out some of my blocks on the floor to get an idea of what the finished quilt will look like. My kitty decided he wanted to help!

These are about half the blocks I have complete so far. I still have to cut blocks out of the tan fabric and the red with doggy prints. As a matter of fact, I think I'm going to set up my ironing board and get the rest of the fabric ready to cut! Hubby is working tonight so it's just me and a classical CD.

I love the green and how the other colors contrast with it. That will be a beautiful quilt.

Hi Cassandra, thanky for your visit. Sorry I am so long in returning. I am not sure weather I will be returning to my blog. Sean's last year of home schooling is starting tomorrow and I need to really concentrate on getting him ready for secondary school in Sept 2011. However, I need an outlet too, so maybe I will keep it up! I don;t know, I have to get into the swing of things first and that should start tomorrow.

I hope you and yours are all keeping well. I really do appreciate you checking up on me, thanks!

I am of now to have a look at your blog. God bless you.

Ruth, I'm just glad to know that you are ok! :) :)

How exciting, to be preparing Sean for secondary school. I'm sure this year will be a great time for both of you! God bless!

Cassandra,

I really like the colors of your quilting squres. The colors remind me of fall, which is my favorite season.

BTW, your kitty is doing a "good job" of holding some of the quilting squares for you. :)

P.S. I know that I still owe you an email.
